Balboa City School is a state of the art, highly innovative, college preparatory school in sunny Escondido. With under 100 students in the high school program, the school’s small size allows students the unique opportunity to interact with their teacher and peers more effectively. Balboa City School also uses its highly advanced curriculum including extensive SAT preparation to ensure that students are well prepared for the future.

Facilities
All classrooms have projectors, and class size is capped at 20. The facilities include a new science lab, art studio, basketball court, gym, and campus has a large Student Center with ping-pong tables for student use. Students have access to a media lab where they can make video games, write music, develop their artistic talents, and learn advanced programming.

Sports and Arts
Balboa City School Force Sports program is highly effective in mentoring student athletes and teaching them the value of a modern, relevant education– which includes rigorous athletic training and serious college preparatory classes. Students are offered a wide variety of fun art courses and activities in which to participate, including animation, special effects, and music.
