Situated on a 150-acre campus within an hour’s drive of two Ivy League Universities, Marianapolis Preparatory School offers rigorous courses to secondary students in grades 9-12. The challenging curriculum has 15 Advanced Placement courses coupled with intimate classroom environments.
Marianapolis Preparatory School recently completed renovation on a multi-purpose track and turf field. Other facilities include a black box theater for drama and musical
productions, a dark room for film development, tennis courts, and an athletic field house with a dance studio, a wrestling room, basketball courts and a weight and fitness center.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Participation in two seasons of extracurricular activities each year is mandatory whether students join a club or team sport. Students can choose from a long list of competitive
sports such as crew, martial arts, equestrian and more. Various art activities are also offered at Marianapolis such as art history, music, theater, dance and visual art. For those with a passion for creativity there’s a portfolio-based Advanced Studio Art or Independent Study. They also have after school clubs that give students time outside of class to make friends with common artistic interests.
DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE
There are two boys’ and four girls’ dorms shared by both US and international students that feature all the comforts of home. Each residence hall at Marianapolis Preparatory
School has Wi-Fi access, recreational activities and TVs for use during leisure time.
