Lake Mary Preparatory School is a co-educational college preparatory boarding school. They use a whole child approach that promotes intellectual, emotional and social growth, while emphasizing problem solving, critical thinking and higher-order reasoning. This approach engages students in their own development and encourages them to take ownership of their decisions and actions.
Tucked away on a serene forty-eight acre campus, the school’s main building includes classrooms, laboratories for science, computer labs, art studios, instrumental and vocal music rooms, a library/media center, a fully equipped weight room, a regulation sized gymnasium, a well-equipped performance stage and lunchrooms.
Sports and Arts
Lake Mary Preparatory School has several sports championship awards including: 2014 Girls Golf State Champions, 2014 Florida Dairy Farmer Golfer of the Year: Sierra Brooks, and more. The art programs has a dual focus: formal course offerings that teach techniques and principles along with first-hand exposure. Course offerings include two and three dimensional design, graphic design, ceramics, broadcasting, film, instrumental music, and dance.

Dormitories and Student Life
Boarding students will live in residential houses close to campus in a quiet residential area. Students share bedrooms and spend time in the community family room, recreation room, outdoor patio and kitchen with breakfast nook. Each residential house will contain one or more Housemasters who supervise residents in the house, as well as providing advice, guidance and schoolwork assistance.
The small city of Lake Mary is found about 30 minutes north of Orlando. Students living in Lake Mary will be sure to enjoy the year round warm Florida weather.
