Arlington High School is a large, coed public high school not far from Boston. Its topnotch curriculum of more than 15 Advanced Placement courses. Professional athletes,Oscar-winning actress Olympia Dukakis and comedian Dane Cook are some of its famous graduates. Each year it welcomes a select group of international students to its campus.

FACILITIES
The campus centers around an original Colonial-style building named “Fusco House”. Other facilities include an outdoor sports fields for the various teams and a media center where high school students may join a variety of extracurricular activities.

SPORTS AND ARTS
Sports are a passion at Arlington High School. Their hockey and lacrosse teams won state champions for most of the 20th century, while the girl’s cross-country and soccer teams
have come in first in regional and state competitions. International students are also invited to take part in the unique art opportunities at Arlington. They can explore their creativitiy in courses like Music Technology or Film Scoring.

AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Arlington High School was awarded a Gold Medal by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top high schools in the USA, and is ranked 16th in the state and 419th in America.
Boston Magazine also ranked Arlington High School 37th Best Boston Public High School.

Arlington is a suburban town just minutes from downtown Boston. First settled in the 17th century, there is a rich history of early Americana offering a lot of cultural and
outdoor activities year-round. It is a short distance to the seashore (Cape Cod) and ski resorts (the mountains of New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine).
