Hopkinton High School is located in Hopkinton, MA, which is best known as the starting point for the Boston Marathon. In 2013, Hopkinton was recognized as the top regular high school in Massachusetts by the U.S. News and World Report!

In recent years, HHS students have received such honors as National Merit Finalists, International Science Fair participants, state Field Hockey champions, gold medal musicians, and top scores in state standardized tests. With over 150 students in both the National Honor Society and the Community Service Club, students understand the value of academic excellence as well as the importance of individual character and service to their community. HHS is a school where each individual’s unique contributions are valued and respected by their peers and teachers and where they are encouraged to seek out experiences that support their individual vision for themselves and make a difference in their school and community.

Community Profile
Hopkinton is a suburb of Boston, located only 26 miles away and best known as the start point of the famous Boston Marathon. It has evolved as a community built for families where spacious homes, schools, and places to play form a dominant impression of Hopkinton, as do its open spaces, lakes, and scenic vistas. Its location has caused the town to experience significant residential growth to its current population of 14,000 residents. The large number of historic homes has preserved the quaintness and charm that this village has to offer. Hopkinton has a well defined town center that contains a town common, school, churches, town hall, library, places of business, and numerous places of historic significance.

Boston is one of America's oldest cities, with a rich economic and social history. What began as a homesteading community eventually evolved into a center for social and political change. Boston has since become the economic and cultural hub of New England. As the region's hub, Boston is home to many institutions of higher education, some of the world's finest inpatient hospitals, and numerous cultural and professional sports organizations. Millions of people visit Boston to take in its historic neighborhoods, attend cultural or sporting events, and conduct business.
