Private Day School
Cathedral High School and Holyoke Catholic High School have recently merged to form a new school: Pope Francis High School. Currently located in Chicopee, MA, it will be moving to a new campus in the town of Springfield in 2019. Distinguished for its challenging Advanced Placement/Honors curriculum, it offers five different academic programs for students to choose from.
The new campus will feature media/resource rooms, specialized classrooms (for science, the arts and engineering), as well as an auditorium and a gymnasium. The plan also adds athletic facilities, i.e., a multipurpose field with press box and seating, baseball and softball diamonds, locker rooms and five tennis courts.
SPORTS AND ARTS
International st dents are encouraged to get involved with one of the 12 sports offered.
Pope Francis High School is proud of its fine art programs, with opportunities to join vocal ensemble, photography or the lighting and sound club.
