Private Boarding School
Pope John XXIII High School offers a co-educational, college preparatory curriculum in a vibrant, urban environment. A private Roman Catholic day and boarding school, it gives US and international students in grades 8-12 a choice between three academic tracks: College Preparatory, Honors and Advanced Placement. Located 15 minutes from downtown Boston, Pope John XXIII Regional High School is near some of the best universities in America, such as Harvard, MIT and Tufts.
Facilities consist of an auditorium, a gymnasium and off-site athletic fields, along with science labs and a media center.
Sports and Arts
The high school has a number of boys and girls competitive sports to pick from including tennis, soccer, baseball, volleyball and even a championship basketball team. For the artistically inclined there’s an award-winning fine arts program that presents musicals and talent shows. Special off-campus student trips are regularly organized to performances at The American Repertory Theater and The Boston Ballet.

Dormitories and Student Life
The campus residence hall is split into separate areas for boys and girls with single and double room options. The dormitory features Wi-Fi, cable TV, cozy living rooms, and a game room. Family-style meals are served in the private dining room—almost everything is designed to create a warm, nurturing environment. What’s more, Sullivan Square (a nearby shopping and dining district) is easily accessible by the bus that stops in front of the high school.
Located just five miles north of Boston, With its easy access to the city and Mystic River, there are plenty of activities to keep foreign students busy. Students can go to the movies, shop the streets, or just hang out at their favorite pizza shop. The bus stop in front of the school takes students directly to Sullivan Square, a favorite neighborhood of Bostonians.
