One of the premiere all-boys, private boarding schools in the Midwest region of the US, Missouri Military Academy develops young men’s character and leadership skills. Providing traditional instruction in physics, art, music and business, the high school offers 10 Advanced Placement courses and a long list of extracurricular activities. Almost 70% of the faculty holds a Masters or Doctorate degree and all are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment where cadets can thrive.
The Colonial-style buildings on a 288-acre campus feature two technology centers, an art center, a gymnasium with basketball courts, a fitness center and an indoor swimming pool. The outdoor facilities have tennis courts, a racecourse, a 13 meter-high climbing tower and sports fields.
Sports and Arts
Missouri Military Academy sponsors a flight training program based at a local airfield so cadets can learn the fundamentals of aviation and earn their private pilot’s license. Developing students’ creativity is encouraged—from performing and visual arts to Marching Band. Intramural activities include the Boy Scouts of America, Cadet Council, chess, fencing and more.
Dormitories and Student Life
Cadets are supervised by a trained staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The four modern dormitory/barracks have recreation rooms, and on weekends there’s a canteen with a snack bar, big-screen TVs and a video game room
