TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas is the oldest co-educational Episcopal college preparatory boarding school in the Southwest. Located in the culturally diverse city of San
Antonio, it was founded in 1893 by Bishop James “Steptoe” Johnston. TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas’ goal is to create a supportive but rigorous educational environment. All students study a comprehensive college preparatory curriculum that includes an impressive offering of Honors and Advanced Placement courses in English, mathematics, science, history/social studies, studio art and languages.

Facilities
Located in San Antonio, the seventh most populated city in the United States, the TMI campus is comprised of sports fields and facilities, science labs, computer labs, a library, and more.


Sports and Arts
Students can participate in a variety of competitive sports, hobby-or-skill-related clubs, and the theater and music programs. Over one-third of the student body participates in the nationally distinguished JROTC program, which boasts the award of Honor Unit with Distinction.

School and Student Life
Dorm parents reside in the residence halls and amongst the community in multiple residences. All of the dorm halls have been recently refurbished. The common rooms contain big screen TV’s and a game room featuring a pool table, foosball, air hockey and more.
