The Tacoma Public School District is the third largest district in the state of Washington, leading the way in piloting the newest programs and implementing innovative and forward-thinking ideas. Tacoma’s high schools offer outstanding academic curriculum that are supplemented by unique and varied extracurricular and sports programs, including the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme and 7 foreign language courses. There’s something to pique every student’s interests.

Facilities
Each school’s campus is unique to the needs of the students who attend, with updates and modernization regularly. All of Tacoma’s high schools have their own athletic facilities and various academic buildings.

Sports and Arts
All schools offer a wide variety of sports, clubs, and arts courses. Wilson High School has the most successful comprehensive Athletic Program within Tacoma Public Schools, while Stadium High School has the largest Art department. The Hilltop Artists in Residence glassblowing program is nationally recognized - it’s only one example of how Tacoma Public Schools “think outside the box”.
