Portland Christian High School is a group of nondenominational, nonprofit, independent, Christian schools established in 1947, serving students in grade levels K-12. The International Student Program at Portland Christian High School began in 1986 and accepts students from grades 9 to 12. The program has developed over the years as a leading international student program among national high schools. The program places a strong emphasis on English as a second language, academics, college preparedness, and the transition of students from six levels of ESL courses to mainstream courses.

Facilities
Located in northeast Portland’s Parkrose neighborhood, the campus features numerous classrooms, an all-weather track and field, two gymnasiums, a library, art studio, science labs, and computer labs.

Sports and Arts
The winning athletic programs and dedicated coaches coordinate to produce outstanding student-athletes, many of which choose to continue their athletic careers past graduation. The arts program is exceptional; the Concert Band took first in the 2013 State Championship competition, the Concert Choir has won 47 competitions, and the Fine Arts student’s exhibit works in many student showcases around Portland.
