What to do in case your study visa is declined?
Posted on September 21, 2011
It's that exciting time of year when thousands of international students are preparing for their high school year in the USA.
An important step in the process getting your student visa approval. Usually with the right paperwork, this process will go smoothly, but what if it doesn't?
We often get questions from our partners asking what they should do if their student is refused a visa for their high school program in America.
- Please note that when we are informed a student is denied a visa, these are important steps that students can take:
- Make sure you ask and understand why the visa was denied.
- If it was due to lack of documentation, then of course the student prepares it.
- If it was due to poor English or grades (often the case), we at Educatius can ask the school to send a letter of support specifically addressing this issue and how the school will/can support the student.
- Many students will get the visa on the second try with this additional documentation.
