Admiral Farragut Academy offers a college preparatory program. Students can choose an advanced track, which includes honors, advanced placement level classes and dual enrollment course work through St. Petersburg College, FL. In addition, diverse electives are offered to develop broader academic interests. Students at Admiral Farragut Academy are part of a dynamic community, which prides itself on learning, leadership and service. AFA is dedicated to educating students in preparation for college, while instilling values of leadership and character. AFA accomplishes this through a rigorous academic program, with instruction provided by their talented division faculties. AFA’s strong college preparatory curriculum provides a traditional liberal arts education, preparing students to go on to study at leading colleges, universities and service academies.
Dormitories and Student Residences
Two to three students per dorm room and each room has its own bathroom. 24-hour supervision by teachers, staff, and coaches; along with 24 hour campus security, and safe neighborhood ensures a secure environment. Students are paired according to gradelevel and diversity. Rooms are air-conditioned with wireless internet access.
