Burlington Public School
Burlington, Massachusetts
Burlington High School prepares students for lifelong learning and responsible citizenship by offering a challenging, relevant curriculum and varied activities in a safe environment.
The school has seven school-wide expectations for student learning. Students will: employ current technology to investigate, create, communicate, and produce; apply a variety of problem-solving strategies; write effectively; communicate orally; read critically; obtain, evaluate, analyze, and apply data; demonstrate self-control and respect for all individuals; pursue and participate in modes of artistic and creative expression; and exhibit responsible citizenship.
Burlington High is moving to a 1:1 environment for the school year of 2011-2012. In the short term, this means that all teachers and students will have school-issued iPads. The principle has his own blogwhere he comments on most current events at the school.
An innovative school life where every student is considered an individual with special skills ready to be enhanced. Welcome to Burlington High School!
