Desert Christian School
Lancaster, California
Desert Christian High School began in 1988 with 17 students and now consists of 400 teens. Since then it has moved to a new campus, featuring a gymnasium, expanded library facility, and a brand new computer lab. In addition to great facilities, the school offers a welcoming environment where students and teachers have respect and understanding for each other. The school is viewed as an extended family committed to academic excellence, biblical values, and character development. Caring and committed teachers endeavor to have each student reach their full God-given potential.
Extracurricular participation is strongly encouraged. As a member of the Desert Mountain League, students have a chance to participate in basketball, baseball, softball, cross country, soccer, volleyball and other non-league sports including cheerleading. A variety of clubs and activities enable all students to be involved in beneficial services to the school and community and to use their interests and gifts to bring glory to God. Over half of our student body participates in a club of their choice.
