As Maine's premiere magnet high school, Maine School of Science and Math (MSSM) is a unique boarding school that offers an advanced and rigorous curriculum in science, mathematics and humanities to students from throughout Maine and the rest of the world. The school is ranked by the U.S. News and World Report as one of the Top 100 high schools in the United States out of over 10,000.
The residential hall at MSSM provides a warm and safe home for both boys and girls. They live in separate wings that are divided by common areas. The residence hall is supervised by full-time residential staff.
The school has many clubs for math, robotics and many others. MSSM only recruits among the top 3% of students in from the state. 100 % of their students were accepted to high level 4 year colleges.
