School Profile
In 2010, the Boston Magazine ranked Marblehead High School among the top 25 best public high schools in Massachusetts. MHS offers a variety of activities, at all grade levels, during all seasons. Eligibility requirements are published in the Student Handbooks annually. In the 2010-2011 school year, these student activity and athletics programs produced a Mock Trial Team State Semi-Finalist, the North Shore Science League Champions and State Champions in Girls' Skiing, Swimming, Boys' Ice Hockey and Sailing!
The mission of Marblehead High School is to provide a safe, respectful environment in which all students are challenged to achieve their fullest intellectual, physical and social development and to accept responsibility for their learning.

The town of Marblehead, Massachusetts is a coastal community of 19,808 residents located 18 miles north of Boston. Today, its quaint narrow streets and historic 17th and 18th Century buildings are characteristic of Marblehead’s historic roots, dating back to its founding in 1629.
