School Profile
The Medfield Public School System is a dynamic and collegial learning environment. Curriculum and instruction guides students to achieve high standards and to meet the challenge of change. Through school, family, and community partnerships, students are prepared to become responsible, sensitive, contributing citizens and lifelong learners. Medfield High School was nominated to be a Blue Ribbon School by the Government. Only 6,000 schools nationwide carry this title. The school building is modern building filled with daylight and open spaces. They have an exceptional sports program and students should plan on arriving a day earlier for tryouts. Students will always be able to participate in sports as the schools accommodates all students by creating new teams rather than denying a student access to sports.
Community Information
Medfield is an affluent, small community only 20 minutes from Boston. Students can use the train in order to visit Boston and experience all the city has to offer. The train station is in the next town and it is a 40-minute commute.
