School Profile

Orme is a co-ed, college prep boarding school, now in its 83rd year, located on a rustic 300-acre campus surrounded by a 26,000-acre working ranch that is just one hour north of Phoenix. It has an excellent ESL Department, a long history of success with international students and the best equestrian program in the Western U.S.

At Orme, students can discover small classes, a rustic setting, rigorous academics, 100% college acceptance, competitive sports, horsemanship, outdoor adventuring, fine arts, southwest studies, sustainability, and much more.

Extracurricular Activities

Orme has a very extensive equestrian facility and is able to welcome riders from beginner to very advanced. It also has a pool, tennis courts and gymnasium.

A full selection of fine and performing arts courses is offered. In addition, one of the school’s many traditions is a 44-year-old fine arts festival.

Boarding Facilities

Students live on campus, two in each room, with a bathroom for each two-room suite.
