Rockport High School provides a comprehensive, innovative, and caring educational environment for its students. Located on the Northeast coast, the school is surrounded by the ocean and horse ranches.
Rockport High School, in partnership with families and the community, provides a safe environment that fosters integrity, respect, and pride in achievement. They challenge all students to pursue academic excellence, develop interpersonal skills, and value civic responsibility. Students learn 21st Century skills in order to fully participate in a diverse and ever-changing world. The school has a total of 1,000 students, from kindergarten to 12th grade, and about 320 students at high school level.
Community Information
Rockport is a rural/suburban area with a population of approximately 7,500 residents. The pristine beaches, woodland trails and year-round artist community make it a popular tourist destination. The city of Boston is less than an hour away. Public transportation via the commuter rail makes it an easy train ride into the city.
