Serra Catholic High School
Serra Catholic High School is a college preparatory school for grades 9 - 12. The school has 26 faculty members with an average teaching experience of 19 years. The mission of Serra Catholic is to educate young men and women in the Catholic Franciscan tradition, which nurtures students in spiritual, moral and social growth. For advanced students, 42 college credits are available through Serra’s “College in High School” program. Overall, Serra students test two to three years above the national average, according to the Iowa Tests of Educational Development. In 2012 Serra Catholic High School was a recipient of the Top 50 Catholic High School Honor Roll. The Honor Roll recognizes excellence in Catholic identity, academics and civic education at Catholic high schools across the United States.
