Trinity Catholic High School
Newton, Massachusetts
A Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory school, Trinity Catholic High School uncovers and nurtures the unique God-given gifts within each member of our diverse community of learners. In all pursuits, we challenge our students to become women and men of intellect and integrity who will witness the traditional Christian values of faith, hope and love and build a better tomorrow.
Originally founded as Our Lady’s High School in 1894, it served children from the parish neighborhoods. In 1989 the school merged with St. Patrick’s High School of Watertown and changed its name to Trinity Catholic High School. As a parish high school, the student body has increasingly reflected the outreach of the school into Boston and the surrounding towns. The current school reflects a very rich cultural diversity of our global community. Although our school has evolved throughout its long history to meet changing needs, the marks of excellence that have long characterized this school remain apparent to this day. In honor of our long history we named our school brand in 2001: Where Our Tradition Meets Tomorrow.
Academic
Trinity Catholic features a rigorous, structured, college-preparatory academic program that emphasizes proficiency in writing, critical thinking, speaking, and mathematical skills.
