Winnebago Lutheran Academy is a four year high school established in 1925 to serve the parents and children of the Academy Association with a Christ‑centered curriculum designed to make disciples of all students from special to gifted, as they serve as dedicated members of God's kingdom, as well as useful and worthy citizens of their country. Graduating seniors are all well prepared to pursue college or technical school education beyond high school. The excellent preparation is made possible through individual guidance to help each and every student select and prepare for a college, university or career. A wide range of extra-curricular activities, including sports, music, drama, forensics and various student organizations are offered to students outside of the academic schedule. Students are encouraged to take part in all sorts of activities and sports.

Academic
WLA offers good academic preparation for four-year colleges, universities and technical college. 65% of WLA graduates have gone on to college or university and another 25% have enrolled in technical college. The core curriculum, required for all WLA students, includes Religion, English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Physical Education/Health, and Music. Electives include Foreign Language (Latin, Spanish, or German), Choir, Band, Computer-Assisted Drafting & Design (CADD), Art, Sewing, Foods, Speech, Life Sports, and other academic and non-academic courses. Advanced electives include Calculus, Physics, Anatomy, Spanish III, Latin IV, and Tech Music. Advanced Placement English offers qualified students an opportunity to earn college credit.
College acceptance is at 90% and students have gone on to 4-year colleges, universities and technical colleges both in and out of state. The school also offers excellent career preparation and 10% of the students choose to pursue a career after graduation.
Location
Fond Du Lac is located on the southern shore of Lake Winnebago, Wisconsin. Green Bay is 75 miles to the north east while Sheboygan is 40 miles east on the shore of Lake Michigan where Milwaukee is also found a bit further south about 70 miles away. Fond Du Lac is a beautiful community of about 45,000 inhabitants and is consistently rated among the top communities for quality of schools and safety. It has been named the state's "Top Adventure Town" by National Geographic Adventure Magazine and indeed the waters of Lake Winnebago have a lot to offer thrill seekers.
