Worcester Academy
Worcester, Massachusetts
Worcester Academy is a co-educational independent school including grades 6 through 12, and postgraduates. From its hilltop vantage point in one of Worcester’s oldest neighborhoods, the academy sees things a little differently than most New England day and boarding schools. This is a place where life takes an interesting turn. It’s called the real world, where success doesn’t always come easily, but it’s worth the extra effort. The Academy’s exceptional teachers and coaches inspire students to dig deeper and push harder.
Across its historic campus, you’ll find 19th-century buildings buzzing with 21st-century thinking. Ancient languages are taught in state-of-the-art classrooms. Learning happens all over campus, in clubs and science labs, in dorms, and on fields and stages. Just outside campus is a living laboratory – the museums, parks, and neighborhoods of Worcester, where art, science, and culture really come alive.
A vibrant setting, diverse community, and challenging curriculum provide students with a solid, real-world education.
Dormitories and School Residences
Worcester Academy has two male dorms and two female dorms on campus. The dorms house between three and seven faculty families who live in residence with the students.
