Support African Students
Educatius One-to-One Aiducation
One to One Aiducation is Educatius’ first step in promoting a better education in Africa. For each student that participates in one of Educatius’ educational program, we sponsor an African student and pay one year of schooling. Educatius focuses primarily on the regions of Nzega in Tanzania and the village, Kartong in Gambia. Educatius will in the coming year, continue our support through training of teachers in Tanzania. Unfortunately, there is a large shortage of teachers for African students. During the past year, Educatius has donated money to help build a library in Kartong. We continue to support this project and look forward to new projects in the coming years.
The Goal of One-to-One Aiducation
One may wonder why a provider of educational programs such as Educatius would get involved in a charity organization in Africa. We at Educatius believe we have the world’s most interesting and fun jobs, helping students experience amazing academic programs in some of the best parts of the world. Their time spent in one of our programs not only creates memories for life but also builds a basis for a successful life when stepping out into the world. We must also remember that those participating in our programs are fortunate to have this privilege and opportunity. We therefore feel it is important to help children in the rest of the world that lack the opportunities for schooling.
At Educatius, we believe education is the best foundation for building a better life for one self and the surrounding community. This is why Educatius is dedicated to providing the opportunity of schooling to African students. Educatius will sponsor a child in Africa for each student that participates in our programs. As Educatius continues to expand its programs, we will be able to help more children and our commitment will become even greater. We hope that our partners around the world will join us in this great cause!
How did the idea the idea for Educatius One-to-One Sponsor Program develop?
We at Educatius have long felt that we should do something for kids that do not have the opportunity to participate in an academic year abroad or let alone schooling in their home country. We started a few years ago by helping build a library in Gambia, but this year we want to do more and on a great scale. One of our colleagues read an article online about an American entrepreneur who sold shoes on the internet, donated a pair of shoes to charity for each pair sold. The puzzle pieces came together for us. For each student studies with Educatius, it is only natural to sponsor an African student in need. We all loved the idea!
Educatius has with the help of a two experienced charity organizations founded a separate entity, Aiducatius that focuses solely on offering education to those less fortunate in parts of the world. Educatius together with Aiducatius, currently sponsor over 250 students in Africa. Please join us in this great cause.
