Facilities
The college’s excellent facilities provide students with the best environment to learn. There are 7 different libraries which are fully equipped with computers, study desks, books, journals, and access to e-books and e-resources. Free WiFi is available across the college. The Maths and Science Centre boasts 11 purpose-built laboratories and six specialist maths teaching rooms. The college’s creative departments have a theatre, dance studio, TV studio, radio station and much more. Students can also use the state-of-the-art sports hall, 3G pitches and gym so they are assured to have everything they need for a successful and enjoyable time at Exeter College.
Sports & Arts
The college offers a wide range of enrichment activities for students to get involved in outside the classroom, to enhance their learning experience and aid with their personal development. Students who want to excel in a particular area can apply to join one of the college’s inspirational Academies, which will allow them to focus on achieving their ambitions and stretching themselves to improve and reach the highest level in their chosen interest or field of study. Academies on offer include Sports Academy (Football, Rugby, Golf, Tennis or Basketball), Journalism Academy, Music Academy, Performing Arts Academy, Reach Academy (for students who want to apply to Oxbridge or Medicine courses at university) and the Michael Caines Academy (for students studying Professional Cookery).
Student Life
Exeter College has a dedicated Student Experience Team, whose sole focus is to provide expert pastoral care to all students. These friendly trained support specialists are also on-hand to provide expert advice and guidance on academic progress and university progression. The college’s International Team supports international students from arrival until course completion by providing an induction, a personal academic tutor, a tutoring programme, additional academic English support, a UK student mentor, university application support and organised university visits.
