Established in 1970, Springwood School places a strong emphasis on college preparation. It offers several AP courses and a competitive athletics program.
The 46-acre campus houses interactive classrooms with Wi-Fi, on-campus housing, a fine arts center, a media center, and innovative computer labs. Students have access to various recently renovated athletic facilities including a gymnasium, a workout/weight room, a football stadium, basketball courts, tennis courts, and softball and baseball diamonds.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Students can join 10 sports teams including golf, baseball, tennis, and football. Two former international students played on the US Women’s Golf Team, with one going on to tour with the Ladies Pro Golf Association.
Students can choose from enriching electives such as Graphic Design, Theater, and Band.
AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Springwood School has received the AISA Blue Ribbon School Designation 7 times in a row (2012-2018) and won the ISA High School Scholar’s Bowl State Championships five years in a row (2012-2017). Springwood also finished as a runner-up in the AISA President's Award competition.
DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE
Springwood School’s on-campus, gated dormitories house two students per room and offer direct access to the main school building as well as indoor and outdoor communal spaces. A new International House was recently opened in Fall 2018.

As an international student of Springwood, I think I made a great choice to come here. I am so happy to be studying at this school. The teachers at Springwood are very kind and helpful. Springwood has a really nice college application support system for all students. I am planning to graduate next year from Springwood.

SCHOOL PROFILE 'Iolani Shool is a culturally diverse, co-educational college preparatory school. With more than 150 years of history, it is recognized as one of the top college preparatory schools in the United States. Through dynamic and personalized instruction in a multitude of disciplines, 'Iolani develops liberally educated, well-rounded individuals. FACILITIES There are a number of great facilities on the 25-acre campus at 'Iolani School. The Sullivan Center for Innovation and Leadership is a 40,000 square food building that is home to research science, design, and applied technologies. Outside of the academic buildings, students can use a number of athletic facilities, including fields, a pool, and a six-lane outdoor track. SPORTS AND ARTS Students at 'Iolani School participating in sports are continuing a long, proud tradition that goes back to the 1930s. The Raiders have won more than 75 state championships with 'Iolani being the only school to win five consecutive boys basketball championships (2002-2006). SCHOOL PROFILE Founded in 1792, Fryeburg Academy is a historic, academically rigorous school located in a classic New England village. The school offers specialized programs such as the film making program taught by a director who formerly worked at Hollywood's MGM Studios. Additionally, the math program has won many state and regional championships. FACILITIES The rural 105-acre campus features an art gallery and a state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center where 80 school and local performances are held each year. The school is currently building a new dining hall and student center. SPORTS AND ARTS Fryeburg offers over 20 varsity sports teams. The Nordic ski program is exceptional, having recently won the state championship and graduates have gone on to compete in the Olympics. Fryeburg Academy's performing arts and music programs are outstanding. The school has won multiple first place championships in vocal jazz, big band, and new standard jazz combo in both the state and the national Berklee High School Jazz Festival.
