Birmingham Community Charter High School is an independent US public high school accepting international students in grades 10-12. Different from traditional US public schools, charter schools are created by teachers, parents and the community under special terms. Birmingham Community Charter High School aims to prepare students through innovative and academically challenging curriculums including courses in topics like science, health and business technology. International students especially like the school’s personalized “Small Learning Communities.”
Birmingham Community Charter High School is proud of its outstanding resources and state-of-the-art facilities. The school recently invested over $1 million dollars in technology tools, a medical lab and will soon be adding a new lab designed for classes in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Birmingham Community Charter High School has one of the largest athletics program in the entire San Fernando Valley. As for arts, students have the option to take on subjects like creative and liberal arts, media, and performing and visual arts.
Birmingham is located in a suburban area of Los Angeles known as The San Fernando Valley. The “Valley” is centrally situated with easy access to public transportation - students can get to downtown LA in less than 30 minutes. “The City of Angels” (as it is famously known) is a global metropolis with unlimited cultural and recreational opportunities you’d expect from a world-class city.

Adelaide High School
Adelaide High School is South Australia’s first high school and celebrated its centenary in 2008. It is located in the city, surrounded by parklands and is easily accessible by public transport. The school has a varied curriculum with academic, practical and vocational experiences available and is especially known for delivering programs of excellence in languages, science, mathematics, cricket and rowing. Blackwood High School
