Students in their second semester are also able to take college level courses at Palamar City College which is located across the street from Escondido Charter High.

SPORTS AND ARTS
Escondido High School is part of the competitive North County Conference and competes in the Valley League. During the school year, students can play in sports like Basketball, Golf, Swimming and even Roller Hockey. Students interested in art are able to take advantage of various art related courses
AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Escondido Charter High School Media program has been featured at the Southern California Student Media Festival and the San Diego County iVIE Awards. The English Language Arts program was specially recognized at the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress review as one of the best in the county.
Escondido is a city about 30 minutes north of downtown San Diego. The city is in a picturesque valley surrounded by coastal mountains with a charming downtown full of history, activities, and friendly locals. For a fun day trip, neighboring San Diego offers beaches, a zoo, amusement parks and shopping.

DISTRICT PROFILE Oak Park District’s Oak Park High School is a suburban California Gold Ribbon School and US News and World Report Silver Medal School near the Pacific Coast. In addition to four foreign languages, students have the opportunity to choose from over 20 Advanced Placement Courses.
