School Description

DISTRICT PROFILE
International students can study at one of three high schools in the Santa Barbara area: Dos Pueblos High School, San Marcos High School, or Santa Barbara High School. Collectively, these schools offer international students a challenging and varied curriculum, with more than 200 academic and elective courses to choose from. All three schools feature Advanced Placement courses, while Dos Pueblos High School is also an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School.

FACILITIES
Each school campus is about 40 acres, and has specific amenities tailored to their special programs. Facilities will vary per campus, but generally include sports fields, libraries, performing arts centers, and more.

SPORTS AND ARTS
The school district is known for its athletic achievement, and has seen many students go on to become professional athletes and Olympians. Being so close to Los Angeles, students attending Santa Barbara have taken the opportunity to become award-winning actors or film makers. Singer Katy Perry is a graduate!

COMMUNITY INFORMATION
A two hour drive north from Los Angeles, Santa Barbara features beautiful beaches, majestic mountains, and colorful culture. It is home to the world famous Stearns Wharf, the zoological gardens, and Old Mission Santa Barbara.

Must take California state English exam (CELDT) upon arrival. Need all supplemental forms completed by May 15th. (Notarized parental consent form, financial support letter, complete package). School will start reviewing applications in March 2017. Santa Barbara will need to have their immunization form as part of the application. Signed and stamped by the doctor. Ours won’t be valid
