Saint Bernard School is a private educational institution providing a challenging and comprehensive curriculum including Advanced Placement coursework and Early College Experience courses through local universities. In addition, the school boasts the most advanced mathematics department in eastern Connecticut.
Saint Bernard’s campus recently upgraded its sports facilities and educational equipment. There are also science labs for classes like forensic science and a cloud Analysis Center used for digital education courses.
SPORTS AND ARTS
More than 95% of Saint Bernard students participate in at least one of 23 high school varsity sports. Students may also choose to take part in the concert choir and band, as well as pick from a wide-variety of clubs activities in visual art, choir, band, orchestra, strings, jazz, guitar, piano, drama and dance. The award-winning music department has performed at Disneyland, Times Square and Carnegie Hall.
AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
In 2015, the Saint Bernard Mock Trial Team was the regional champion, advancing to the second round of Civics First CT semi-finals. The school is also the only Catholic high school in the state of Connecticut with a competitive marching band.
Located 45 minutes from the city of Hartford, Uncasville, Connecticut is a charming village within the township of Montville. Home to the Mohegan Sun Arena, which hosts major concerts and live sporting events, Uncasville is also one and a half hours from Boston, three hours from New York City and not far from beaches along the Atlantic Ocean.

The 30th president of the United States, Calvin Coolidge, graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy. DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE Faculty members reside in each dorm, and each student is assigned a dorm parent who acts as the student’s mentor and communicates regularly with the student’s family. The Harley School
SCHOOL PROFILE Founded in 1917, the Harley School is a large, independent college preparatory school. The curriculum provides the research skills necessary for students to enter American universities with confidence. Harley students have the freedom to choose Advanced Placement and elective courses in all departments. FACILITIES The facilities include the Sands-Stern Study Center, the Robin Lehman Center for Visual Arts (with a glassblowing studio and student studio space), the Commons Sustainability Center, the Briggs Center for Civic Engagement, and the Center for Mindfulness and Empathy Education (with tennis courts, a swimming pool, and theater). SPORTS AND ARTS The Harley School combines sports teams with another nearby private school. Club sports include ultimate Frisbee, skiing, and more. The exceptional fine arts curriculum includes unique offerings such as glassmaking, directing, and introduction to opera; advanced students are allotted studio space to work in. Beverly High School
SCHOOL PROFILE Beverly High School, located under an hour from Boston, has implemented several initiatives such as a college and career planning program, a senior internship program, and a 1:1 laptop lease program. The school’s curriculum features especially strong media, music, and business programs, a JROTC program, STEM courses, dual enrollment course options, and over a dozen AP options. The school is just 40 minutes from Boston by train. FACILITIES The facilities at Beverly High School include a library, a TV studio, an auditorium, a music room, sports facilities, and more. SPORTS AND ARTS Beverly High School offers 28 varsity teams across all three seasons, making it the largest athletic program in its conference. Students can play sports such as ice hockey, baseball, and lacrosse. The school’s arts program is remarkable with media students receiving 1st place award from the Academy of Television Arts & Science for their video production last year. Additionally, Beverly's music program currently employs music faculty with over 30 years of experience.
