St. Thomas More School, situated on Connecticut's largest natural lake, has a strong basketball program and small clas sizes that ensure individualized attention.
Opened in 1962, St. Thomas More's 100-acre lakefront campus features a boathouse with a dock, athletic fields, a track, a brand new wrestling room, three dormitories, an art studio, and a chapel. St. Thomas More's campus also includes a state of the art Language lab, a new main academic building, newly renovated student lounges, and a new Chemistry lab.
SPORTS AND ARTS
St. Thomas More offers traditional athletics as well as a successful E Sports program. The school has a particularly strong basketball program; 2016 NBA All-Star Andre Drummond of the Detroit Pistons graduated from St. Thomas More in 2011.
Students can choose from art courses such as AP Studio Art, photography, and ceramics.
DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE
Students live in one of three on-campus dormitories along with the 95% of staff who live on campus. Dormitories feature kitchens and lounge rooms with televisions.

Marianapolis Preparatory School
SCHOOL PROFILE Situated on a 150-acre campus within an hour’s drive of two Ivy League Universities, Marianapolis Preparatory School offers 42 honors and AP courses and plenty of extracurricular options as well as a week-long, immersive, for-credit destination learning project. FACILITIES Marianapolis Preparatory School's facilities include a black box theater for drama and musical productions, a newly renovated track and turf field, a dark room for film development, tennis courts, and an athletic field house with a dance studio, a wrestling room, basketball courts, and a weight and fitness center. SPORTS AND ARTS All student participate in at least two extracurricular activities very year. These options include competitive sports such as badminton and ultimate frisbee or club sports, such as martial arts and skiing. Saint Bernard School
SCHOOL PROFILE Saint Bernard School is a private educational institution providing a challenging and comprehensive curriculum including Advanced Placement coursework and Early College Experience courses through local universities. In addition, the school boasts the most advanced mathematics department in eastern Connecticut. FACILITIES Saint Bernard’s campus recently upgraded its sports facilities and educational equipment. There are also science labs for classes like forensic science and a cloud Analysis Center used for digital education courses. SPORTS AND ARTS More than 95% of Saint Bernard students participate in at least one of 23 high school varsity sports. Students may also choose to take part in the concert choir and band, as well as pick from a wide-variety of clubs activities in visual art, choir, band, orchestra, strings, jazz, guitar, piano, drama and dance. The award-winning music department has performed at Disneyland, Times Square and Carnegie Hall. AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS In 2015, the Saint Bernard Mock Trial Team was the regional champion, advancing to the second round of Civics First CT semi-finals. The school is also the only Catholic high school in the state of Connecticut with a competitive marching band.
