School Description

Miami Arts Charter School is a public charter school offering a rigorous college-preparatory academic curriculum and conservatory-style training in the visual and performing arts.

The modern facilities at the school include dance practice rooms, music practice rooms with a grand piano, professional stage, and a photography studio.

Instead of a traditional team sports program, the Physical Education program covers volleyball, football, basketball, soccer, and baseball. In addition, students are evaluated in fifteen different physical tests involving jumping, running and exercises each quarter.
Aligned with the Florida Next Generation Sunshine State Standards, the Academic, Dance, Music, Visual Arts and Creative Writing Programs give students comprehensive, sequential training and many performance/exhibition opportunities to develop their artistic potential to the fullest.

Miami Arts Charter School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools' Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS/CASI).

The Miami Campus is located in Miami's Design District minutes away from the Wynwood Arts District, Downtown Miami and Miami Beach. The diverse community provides international students with many options to learn about US culture.
