School Description

Maui Preparatory Academy occupies 25 acres on the famous island of Maui, Hawaii. The school is located just minutes from the Pacific Ocean and its surf team is one of the best in the country. The school has guaranteed acceptance partnerships with 13 colleges and universities and offers a semester-long Marine Studies immersion program.

Maui Prep’s facilities include science and computer labs, a college counseling office, and other traditional classroom accommodations.

All students participate in two seasons of athletics each school year. Maui Preparatory School’s tennis and golf academies are located on world-class facilities, and its prestigious surfing academy produces some of the best surfers in the world.
Maui Preparatory offers arts options such as dance, performing arts, and band.

As a select five-year member of the Hawaii Community Foundation’s Schools of the Future initiative, Maui Preparatory has received extensive grants to implement initiative, collaboration, and development. The school has won county and state champions in several sports including swimming, surfing, and tennis.

Maui Preparatory gated, apartment-style residential facilities have private beach access, kitchenettes, and private balconies.
