Beckman Catholic School
School DescriptionWith a challenging curriculum and great school community, Beckman Catholic School is great for international students. The school offers Advanced Placement courses, the option to take college courses locally or via the Internet, and the innovative "Project Lead the Way" program curriculum in the engineering and STEM fields.
Each student is given a Chromebook laptop to use and connect to the wireless network available in all classrooms. Facilities include computer rooms, an iPad lab, a multi-usage hall and a sports stadium.
SPORTS AND ARTS
International students may join sports, from freshman to the varsity level. Over the years, teams have won state championships in baseball, soccer, track and field, and girls golf. The arts department strongly encourages students to take part in a class or after school program to help develop creative talents.

Named among the top 50 Catholic high schools in America by the National Catholic High School Honor Roll, Beckman Catholic is also ranked in the top 50 Iowa Advanced Placement high schools.
Dyersville is located one hour northeast of Cedar Rapids. The city has 100 acres of parks—in fact, the baseball field, Field of Dreams, was built for the iconic 1989 film of the same name.
