School DescriptionLocated in the US “Heartland,” nicknamed for its location in the heart of the country and its kind and caring communities, Blue Valley Schools district consists of five high schools accepting international students. These award-winning high schools offer dual enrollment courses for college credit as well as over a dozen AP options.
Blue Valley's facilities include gymnasiums, up-to-date classrooms, and a recently introduced Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS), a cutting edge research facility that provides mentorships and dual-credit college courses.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Blue Valley students can participate in sports such as basketball, softball, and American football.
The district’s art students participate in local, regional, and national festivals and competition. Arts options include broadcasting, drama club, and more.
AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
The district’s high schools were named top high schools in Kansas and in the US by US News and World Report as well as the Washington Post. The CAPS program received the 2016-17 Exemplary School Award. The district was also awarded the prestigious Governor’s Award and Blue Ribbon Award from the US Department of Education. In 2018, two Blue Valley graduates were named Presidential Scholars.
Consistently ranked in the top 100 best cities to live in the US by CNN and Money Magazine, Overland Park is a suburb of nearby Kansas City and is the second largest city in the state of Kansas. Kansas City, only 20 minutes away, features cultural and educational destinations such as the Botanical Gardens and the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Located on the iconic Massachusetts peninsula of Cape Cod, the award-winning Nauset Regional High School is ranked a top 30 best public high school in Massachusetts. The school offers an ESL program, the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma, and a STEM program. FACILITIES Nauset Regional High School is one of the country's only high schools located on the grounds of a national park. The unique campus has nine buildings surrounding an open courtyard. Recent renovations have included a state-of-the-art artificial turf field and a new cardio and weight room in the fitness center. Maur Hill-Mount Academy (MH-MA) is a Catholic preparatory school offering honors, AP, and dual enrollment college credit courses, both on campus and at a nearby university. MH-MA’s renowned ESL program has been in place for six decades.
