School Description

Founded in 1845, Lee Academy utilizes AP courses and an Academic Learning Lab to prepare students to succeed beyond high school. The school is located in the northeastern corner of New England within driving distance to the expansive Acadia National Park and surrounded by Canada to the East, North, and West.

FACILITIES
The campus’ 12 buildings include athletic fields, a plant conservatory, a planetarium, an auditorium, two gymnasiums, and a music center.

SPORTS AND ARTS
Lee Academy has recently added golf, tennis, indoor track, wrestling, and bowling to its athletics program. Lee Academy has won state championships in basketball, baseball, softball, and cross country.
The school’s extensive arts program offers students unique opportunities such as architectural drawing and concert band.

DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE
All dormitories at Lee Academy are equipped with wireless internet, lounge rooms with televisions, and laundry facilities. Students participate in year-round activities such as seasonal dances, musicals, and recreational athletics.
