School DescriptionOur Lady of Good Counsel High School is a private secondary school in the Washington D.C. area. The top-ranked school enrolls a large student body in grades 9 to 12. It offers a college preparatory curriculum, the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), and fine arts.
The campus boasts a performing arts center, 52 acres of athletic fields, more than 10 science labs, a dance studio, two weight rooms, two gymnasiums, a football stadium with a turf field, and 50 classrooms with Apple TVs and Smartboards.

Our Lady of Good Counsel has revised their application requirements to: TOEFL scores are preferred. Successful students usually have around an 80. SSAT, HSPT or PSAT scores are helpful for admission but not required.

Other - Eligibility Requirements?SSAT is preferred in addition to the TOEFL (no minimum for SSAT at this moment). Math, English and IB placement tests are required. $5000 scholarship to to non-Chinese speaking students who do not need ELL and with a strong transcript. I-20s are provided after May 15th. If the English test is not ready, the school will interview the student. Our Lady can offer a conditional acceptance based on TOEFL to be submitted later.
