Holy Name Junior/Senior High School is a catholic coeducational college-preparatory school. SPORTS AND ARTS
Holy Name Junior/Senior High School offers at least one sport per season for girls and boys with a no-cut policy, guaranteeing that every student can participate in athletics each season regardless of ability or experience. A number of graduates have gone on to play sports at both the collegiate level and professionally.
Each year, the arts program participates in amazing concerts and competitions, and students from Holy Name go on an annual overnight trip.
Worcester is located in central Massachusetts with a very young and energetic population. If students enjoy winter activities like snowboarding or skiing, Worcester has a
great location with many slopes nearby. It also offers many cafés and places for meeting friends to study and get together outside of school. There are a number of famous colleges nearby such as Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Clark University, and Assumption College. Not far from Boston, students can easily travel to the historic city and experience the American northeast culture, food, atmosphere, and prestigious universities.

Located in Springfield, MA, Pope Francis recently opened a new campus in the fall of 2018. Newman School, The
SCHOOL PROFILE The Newman School students are engaged to become educated adults through interac- tion with the exciting environment of one of the world’s greatest cities, Boston. At The Newman School, students are challenged to grow, both intellectually and personally. The Newman School is a college-preparatory school with a broad selection of course work at the honors level helps students to demonstrate their capability for success in colleges and universities. The Newman School also offers the prestigious International Baccalaureate Programme. FACILITIES The Newman School facilities, built in 1881, is unique in that the school was originally a home. The school is located in Boston’s historic Back Bay, one of the largest examples of intact Victorian and Edwardian residential architecture in the United States. Students have access to off-campus sports facilities. SPORTS AND ARTS The sports program at The Newman School is exceptionally competitive and allow students to pursue unique interests such as sailing, crew and more. Teachers and staff are club mentors though the interest and energy of each club is driven by student participation. The clubs and activities offered each year reflect the interest and activities of the current student community, whether that include drama or photography. The MacDuffie School
SCHOOL PROFILE The MacDuffie School offers students unique academic programs such as their Leadership Program, developed by a professor from the Cornell University Graduate School of Management. MacDuffie's science department has partnerships with UMass Amherst's Polymer Science Lab and the Harvard University Science Department. The school also has guaranteed admission agreements with Wentworth Institute of Technology and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. FACILITIES The MacDuffie School's new 50-acre campus features state of the art technology in each building. A new artificial turf field and baseball field were added this past year. The school is also in the process of building a new Creativity Center. SPORTS AND ARTS The MacDuffie School has a longstanding reputation as a fierce intercollegiate athletic competitor. The school has recently won championships in soccer, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and cross country. The girls soccer team reached a record 45-game win streak and has won three of the last four New England Championships. The MacDuffie School has a very strong arts program, students have several academic opportunities including drama, in which students write and perform their own original one-act plays each spring. DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE Boarding students take advantage of the school's New England campus each weekend with activities such as apple picking, skiing, and trips to Boston and local colleges and universities. Students can participate in extracurricular activities such as the new eSports team or the Math Team, which is ranked #13 in the country.
