School Description

Founded in 1947, The Cambridge Matignon School is a private, coeducational Catholic school. The Cambridge Matignon School has a long tradition of rigorous academics and small class sizes. The Cambridge Matignon School’s curriculum includes college preparatory courses at the honors and Advanced Placement levels.

The school’s picturesque campus saw a recent renovation of the science labs, library/ media center, locker rooms, fitness room, and athletic fields. Additionally, the school recently installed innovative SMART-board technology in all classrooms.

The Cambridge Matignon School offers 22 varsity sports, such as lacrosse, track and golf. Matignon is especially known for their ice hockey program where they have produced multiple NHL draft picks over the years. There is also an Ice Hockey Academy on campus that benefits from a longer season from August to March for practices and matches.
Many students participate in art classes and extracurricular activities, including graphic design class, drama, and an award winning Dance Team.

Cambridge offers a multicultural setting located just minutes from two of the world’s premier universities: Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). With many cafes, bookstores, and boutiques, Cambridge is often referred to as “Boston’s Left Bank”.
