School Description

Founded in 1947, Matignon High School is a private, coeducational Catholic school. Matignon High School has a long tradition of rigorous academics and small class sizes. Matignon High School’s curriculum includes college preparatory courses at the honors and Advanced Placement levels.

FACILITIES
The school’s picturesque campus saw a recent renovation of the science labs, library/ media center, locker rooms, fitness room, and athletic fields. Additionally, the school recently installed innovative SMART-board technology in all classrooms.

SPORTS AND ARTS
Matignon High School offers 22 varsity sports, such as lacrosse, track and golf. Matignon is especially known for their ice hockey program. Many students participate in art classes and extracurricular activities, including graphic design class and drama club.

COMMUNITY INFORMATION
Cambridge offers a multicultural setting located just minutes from two of the world’s premier universities: Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). With many cafes, bookstores, and boutiques, Cambridge is often referred to as “Boston’s Left Bank”.
