The Newman School students are engaged to become educated adults through interac- tion with the exciting environment of one of the world’s greatest cities, Boston. At The Newman School, students are challenged to grow, both intellectually and personally. The Newman School is a college-preparatory school with a broad selection of course work at the honors level helps students to demonstrate their capability for success in colleges and universities. The Newman School also offers the prestigious International Baccalaureate Programme.
The Newman School facilities, built in 1881, is unique in that the school was originally a home. The school is located in Boston’s historic Back Bay, one of the largest examples of intact Victorian and Edwardian residential architecture in the United States. Students have access to off-campus sports facilities.
SPORTS AND ARTS
The sports program at The Newman School is exceptionally competitive and allow students to pursue unique interests such as sailing, crew and more. Teachers and staff are club mentors though the interest and energy of each club is driven by student participation. The clubs and activities offered each year reflect the interest and activities of the current student community, whether that include drama or photography.
Located in downtown Boston, students are in America’s “educational capital” (home to Harvard University, MIT, and several other universities) and are within walking distance to all that Boston has to offer. Students can enjoy getting a coffee and shopping on New bury Street or many famous museums such as JFK Museum.

SCHOOL PROFILE Pope Francis Preparatory School is a Catholic co-educational, college-preparatory school that fosters academic excellence. Located in Springfield, MA, Pope Francis recently opened a new campus in the fall of 2018. SCHOOL PROFILE Located less than half an hour from Boston, Arlington High School offers a rigorous academic curriculum including an internship program and more than 15 AP courses. Boston’s public transit system stops by the high school allowing easy access into the city. The school’s outstanding STEM program has a unique video game and web development program. FACILITIES Campus facilities include various outdoor sports fields, a media center, and a historical Colonial-style building in the center of campus. Students have the opportunity to participate in the school’s news station at the local access television studios located across the street from the high school. SPORTS AND ARTS Arlington High School’s 30 boys and girls teams consistently win state championships in sports such as ice hockey, lacrosse, cross country, and soccer. Unique arts opportunities at Arlington include songwriting and film scoring as well as a student-run school newspaper a student-produced public news station.
