School Description

Located north of Detroit, Oakland Schools serves 28 schools district. The conglomerate of schools offer a variety of courses, including STEM Programs, many AP Courses, and technology career paths. Along with a few National Blue Ribbon Schools, several schools are nationally ranked as some of the best in the state of Michigan, according to US News and World Report.

FACILITIES
Schools have modern classrooms, equipped with technology. International students will have access to computer labs, athletic fields, and performing art centers.

SPORTS AND ARTS
Students can participate in many traditional American athletic teams. Some common sports include Football, Soccer, Tennis, Volleyball, and Track and Field.
For international students interested in performing arts, there are many bands and choirs to join. There are also plenty of extracurricular and curricular art courses for students to take as well.

COMMUNITY INFORMATION
Home to multiple universities and colleges, Oakland County is a suburb of Detroit and features many shopping and outdoor activities. Known as Automotive Alley, the county is also home to the three biggest American Automakers.
