School DescriptionNotre Dame Jr./Sr. High School is a private Catholic school in central New York State. Teachers and staff at Notre Dame place emphasis on teaching moral values, effective oral and written communication skills, critical thinking, and creative problem solving.
A new school addition is being constructed and will add 14,000 square feet, an ideal educational program space for theater, music, recreation, and athletic facilities to campus.
SPORTS AND ARTS
A majority of Notre Dame’s students participate in one or more of the sports offered, such as lacrosse and golf.

AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Over half of the student population in grades 10-12 is part of the optional Navy JROTC program. For the 2016-17 school year, Notre Dame’s Navy JROTC won Distinguished Unit with Honors.

Lawrence Woodmere Academy is a college preparatory private school, located only minutes from New York City. The school is one of 25 schools in the US to offer a Global Scholars Program. Project Lead the Way and STEM courses are also available for students in the science, technology, or medical field. FACILITIES High speed, super cooled, computers and computer labs have been installed at the school. The theater also has built in surround sound speakers. SPORTS AND ARTS The school's athletic program has produced NCAA talented athletes and has won several state championships in recent years. Lawrence Woodmere's performing arts program is very strong and has produced talented Broadway actors such as Andrew Feldman, who stared in the hit Broadway show Dear Evan Hansen. Grand Rapids Catholic Central High School was founded in 1906 and is the oldest Catholic co-educational school in the nation. With Honors and AP-level courses, a 1:1 iPad program, and dual-enrollment offered on-campus through nearby Aquinas College, students have endless opportunities to learn in a variety of ways.
