Erie First Christian Academy is a private, boarding and college preparatory school accepting international students from grades 8 through 12. The beautifully designed campus is located in Pennsylvania on the northwestern shores of Lake Erie.
The campus provides modern classrooms and buildings including newly constructed housing facility, science lab, technology/computer lab, drama and music facilities, sports fields, a large indoor gymnasium, workout areas and youth/activities center - resources that together create a place where healthy minds, bodies and spirits can thrive.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Students can chose to participate in interscholastic sports, intramural athletic programs and leagues such as kayaking, horseback riding and cycling. Students are also encouraged to get involved in Erie’s arts program by joining courses like drama, chorus, praise band and yearbook design.
DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE
Students live together with faculty house parents and staff workers in a boarding facility that was completed in 2010. There are common areas, a laundry facility, and internet. International students will find more than a dormitory, they will find a home.

SCHOOL PROFILE Located less than an hour from historic Philadelphia, The Phelps School’s small student body ensures intimate class sizes and a low teacher to student ratio of only 1:4. The school places an emphasis on physical activity, offering courses such as fitness/weight training and health and physical education, and every student completes two health and/or fitness classes. FACILITIES The campus’ academic and administrative buildings are located a short walk from the dormitories, while athletes have access to facilities such as a new athletic center, soccer and lacrosse fields, all-weather tennis courts, a running track, a basketball court, a fitness room, a wrestling ring, a weight room, volleyball courts, and a roller hockey rink. SPORTS AND ARTS The 2015 Phelps School basketball team won the PAISSA state championship. The school’s new athletic center features a 500-seat competition gymnasium.
