Erie First Christian Academy
School DescriptionErie First Christian Academy is located on the southeastern shores of Lake Erie, one of North America’s five Great Lakes. Students can choose from 15 dual enrollment courses, taken at Gannon University and Pennsylvania State University.
The campus provides modern classrooms and buildings including a newly constructed housing facility, a science lab, a technology/computer lab, drama and music facilities, sports fields, a large indoor gymnasium, workout areas, and a youth/activities center.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Students can choose to participate in interscholastic sports such as football and basketball as well as intramural athletic programs and leagues such as kayaking, horseback riding and cycling.
Erie First’s arts program includes courses like drama, film media, and set design.
DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE
Students live together with faculty house parents and staff workers in a boarding facility that was completed in 2010. Students have access to an activities center with a modern game room, private bathrooms, high speed internet access, dining facilities, a fitness center membership with a pool, and fitness equipment in the dorm.

Located less than an hour from historic Philadelphia, The Phelps School’s small student body ensures intimate class sizes and a low teacher to student ratio of only 1:4. Phelps offers a variety of learning opportunities including health/fitness classes, earth/space sciences and a new exciting class in Python programming! FACILITIES The campus’ academic and administrative buildings are located a short walk from the dormitories, while athletes have access to facilities such as a new athletic center, soccer and lacrosse fields, all-weather tennis courts, a running track, a basketball court, a fitness room, a wrestling ring, a weight room, volleyball courts, and a roller hockey rink. Founded in 1853, Grier School offers 20 AP courses and nationally recognized dance, horseback riding, and fine arts programs. The school organizes about 14 service events each month to support the local community. FACILITIES Grier’s facilities include art studios for ceramics, batik, and photo printmaking, computer studios, language classrooms, and the Landon Library, containing 16,000 volumes.
