South Sanpete - Gunnison Valley High School
School DescriptionLocated in central Utah, South Sanpete School District’s Gunnison Valley High School offers intimate class sizes for more individualized instruction and attention. Technology has recently been a focus at Gunnison Valley High and every high schooler receives an iPad to use throughout the term.
The facilities at Gunnison Valley High School include state-of-the-art classrooms, athletic amenities (a football field, soccer fields, a track, and a gymnasium), and a working bell tower.
SPORTS AND ARTS
International students are encouraged to take part in Gunnison’s strong athletic program. The boys baseball and girls softball teams both had winning records in 2017.
The arts program at Gunnison is a great place for students to improve their skills in music, performance, or art. Students can join courses and clubs that will focus on their interests in computer-aided design, orchestra, and more.
South Sanpete is located in a region of Utah that is known for its breathtaking views and natural landmarks. International high school students will be able to spend their free time exploring many outdoor activities like fishing, camping, rock climbing, and mountain biking.

It is impossible to believe March is coming to an end. With that being said, just a small reminder that Graduation is less than two months away and not to mention Prom is next month!!! Time truly flies when you are having a good time and when you are far away from home.
It's a great challenge for international students to leave their home and comfort zone. But living with an American host family will leave you with a lot of good memories. Today let me share with you my tips from living with host families for three years in American high schools!
