BASIS Scottsdale is a competitive, high-caliber high school. Ranked the Number 1 high school in the USA by U.S. News and World Report, it was established in 2003 to provide students with an internationally-competitive curriculum that will prepare them for whatever they choose to pursue.

Located in Downtown Scottsdale on 10 acres, BASIS Scottsdale’s new facilities opened for the 2016-17 school year. The school features state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories, a basketball court, and performing arts facilities.

There are a number of opportunities for BASIS Scottsdale students to express themselves outside of the classroom. The school offers a number of different sports for both boys and girls throughout fall, winter, and spring. Students in grades 9-11 can participate in sports.
In terms of arts, BASIS Scottsdale students can take part in a number of performing and fine arts opportunities, including several AP classes in the arts.

Located only 20 minutes outside of Phoenix, Scottsdale is an urban metropolitan city known for its warm weather and is often referred to as a “golfer’s paradise.” Along with a lively downtown area, it has plenty of parks and recreation programs.
