Nine of Chaffey Joint Union High School District’s comprehensive high schools are accepting international high school students. Several schools in the district are distinguished California Gold Medal schools, and all students who meet certain requirements are guaranteed admission to Grand Canyon University.
FACILITIES
Although facilities at each campus may vary slightly, most of them are equipped with stadiums, band rooms, math and science classrooms, dance studios, pools and more. A number of the schools have recently renovated campus and technology amenities, with the latest school update taking place in 2014.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Chaffey Joint Union School District has an outstanding athletics program, and has seen teams win recent championships in baseball, basketball, football, golf, softball, and volleyball. Chaffey Joint Union has been rated as one of the top five Southern California athletic programs. State regulations in California can cause some restrictions for international students playing Varsity-level sports at their school. Please contact us for details.
The district features a comprehensive music curriculum including chamber groups, jazz ensembles, bands, piano lab, winter guard, and more. One of the district’s bands is distinguished as the Bands of America Western Regional Champion and has performed in London, England for the 2010 New Year’s Day Parade.
