Founded in 1876 by the De La Salle Christian Brothers, Christian Brothers High School is a co-educational four-year college preparatory Catholic high school located in Sacramento, California. Christian Brothers High School’s graduates go on to attend prestigious colleges to become physicians, actors, authors, researchers, athletes, teachers, and entrepreneurs.
Facilities include a state-of-the-art performing arts center, engineering labs, video production and media labs, new training and sports facilities and the learning commons.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Students at Christian Brothers are very involved in the many activities available on campus. International students are encouraged to join a club or sports team such as rugby, water polo, track or football. More than 600 students participated in the arts program in 2016 whether it was through the eight instrumental performance groups, the three annual theater productions, or the numerous art classes and exhibitions.
Sacramento, the capital city of California, has exceptional cultural, artistic, and leisure opportunities. The city is located close to many outdoor activities and only one hour from the ski slopes of Lake Tahoe and two hours from Pacific beaches. International students can enjoy easy access to shopping, museums, and great food!
