One of the premier public high schools in Southern Indiana, Scottsburg High School’s students value creativity and collaboration in a technology-rich environment where each student has access to a mobile device. Encouraging academic excellence, it offers a wide variety of coursework, sports and extracurricular activities to teach the value of teamwork,individual responsibility, competition and sense of community.

FACILITIES
Scottsburg High School’s campus is divided into two educational tracks: High Schools That Work and New Tech. Facilities include a full-size football field, a baseball diamond
and a track.

SPORTS AND ARTS
With more than 15 competitive sports teams, their championship boys’ and girls’ basketball teams have a combined 50 title wins. Athletics are a big part of the American high
school experience and international study abroad students are welcome to participate in a variety of sports like archery and bowling. Extracurricular electives provide international students a chance to participate in the school’s renowned newspaper and publishing course, while international high school student musicians are invited to play in the top-ranked concert band.

AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Scottsburg High School participates in the Indiana Academic Super Bowl: a statewide competition in which its students have won the English competition in 2012, Science in
2013, Social Studies in 2014 and 2015, and Interdisciplinary in 2016.
