Private Boarding School – Lee , Maine

Founded in 1845, Lee Academy is a co-educational secondary school, serving grades 9-12. Students take classes preparing them for university with a curriculum that emphasizes math, writing, problem solving, and personal development. Small classes, Advanced Placement courses, and the Academic Learning Lab meet individual student needs and ensure personal attention.

FACILITIES
The campus has 12 buildings that include fields with a plant conservatory, a planetarium, an auditorium with the capacity of 300 people, two gymnasiums, and a music center.

SPORTS AND ARTS
Over the past few years Lee Academy has added golf, tennis, indoor track, wrestling and bowling to its program. Lee Academy has won championships in basketball, baseball,
softball and cross country. In addition, the arts program challenges students in unique courses like Architectural Drawing and Digital Photography.

DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE
There are four dormitories at Lee Academy: one large boys’ dormitory (Weymouth Hall), one small boys’ dormitory (Lindberg Hall) and two small girls’ homes (Cobb Center and
Haskell House). All dormitories are equipped with wireless internet, TV rooms, and laundry facilities.
